When measuring the curtain rod size that you need, here are a couple of tips
1. You will be mounting these curtain rods on the outside of the frame of the window. Made sure that you add at least 3 to 6 inches to the inside width of the window. This will leave plenty of room for the finials when you put up the curtains.
2. Use a level to make sure that the rod is hanging straight. It will save you lots of time and energy trying when you are trying to figure out if you curtains are straight and neat
